I never thought of myself as a storyteller. I rarely write story themed rhymes or poems. However, I’ve known and followed the phenomenal people of Rhode Island Black storytellers since I was a kid. Now I’ve been blessed to be a part of the their First Legacy Academy where I learned from some of the best how to become an actual storyteller.
